Reflections on the 2010 Allied Media Conference

My name is Rudy “Elegost” Rosado.  I’m an active FIERCE Member and am part of the Outreach Team and Media Crew.

For the past three days, I’ve been at the Allied Media Conference in Detroit, Michigan with fellow FIERCE member Ash Hammond and FIERCE Communications Director Manny Vaz.  The Allied Media Conference is a place for learning about communications and media.  It’s a place for people to talk with each other to build a stronger social justice movement.  The three-day conference included workshops, caucuses, community art projects, and technical trainings on nearly everything and anything to do with arts and media.
